Job Description

This incumbent is needed (a) to drive the management of all IT Assets (Hardware and Software) to ensure compliancy, right level of utilization and cost effectiveness (in relation to the ROI of the investment for those assets) across the Group, and (b) to manage the vendor engagement and related contracts to ensure that contracts are being managed properly to ensure that SingPost Group are getting the right level of service, and working with the right vendors/partners, including identifying any risks due to changes in the vendors/partners side (financial insolvency, merger and acquisitions, etc.).

She/he must be able have strong collaboration with the other functional leads and Group Support Functions to drive the overall cost efficiency in terms of the IT spend; and be accountable for driving and realizing value creation through the usage of the IT products under his/her scope through the adoption and lifecycle of relevant IT products.

The incumbent will be expected to:
- Inventorize all IT Assets and contracts, and design and implement processes and tools to measure utilization of those assets.
- Design and implement processes to manage the licenses, maintenance contracts, etc.
- Improve cost efficiency.
- Design and implement vendor management processes and identify the key sponsors.
- Ensure the processes are being followed to protect SingPost Group businesses’ interest.
- Deliver business value through the optimization of SingPost Group’s contracts, licenses, vendors/partners, in alignment with the overall business strategy.
- Manage extensive contact and negotiation with other departments and 3rd parties with conflicting objectives., including influencing and challenging key stakeholders effectively..
- Develop strong, trusting cross-functional relationships with the other IT and business stakeholders, particularly with the business product manager counterpart.
- Champion cooperation and partnership to provide integrated solutions to problems. Main stakeholders will be those in IT teams in SingPost Group, Legal, Procurements, Engineering team, Business Unit leadership, and external parties who supplies the licenses, services.
