**Company Description**

To cope with our business expansion, we are now inviting high caliber to join our team.

You will be responsible for building up a sourcing network and structure in China and South East Asia in conjunction with our current teams.

The key focus areas for the position are as follow:

- Sourcing of suitable factories / manufacturers for Bodum’s items.
- Responsible for product development and project management from design stage to mass production
- Required to work closely with design team in Head office and also with the factory (s) to ensure smooth production
- Ensure products are developed / first order delivered on-time and in defined quality
- Support BODUM design team in any way around projects, such as pushing for confirmation; checking lab requirements; working with lab on testings; project follow up with factory, etc.
- Handle product cost evaluation & perform feasibility study to ensure products meet customers’ requirements
- Develop product specifications with designers and factories
- Occasionally required to visit the factory for mould movements, mould check and record.

**Desired Skills & Experience**
- Degree or above in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge in manufacturing process and quality assurance field of small domestic appliances
- Preferably 2+ years’ experience with product development & project follow-up in household kitchenware electrical items.
- Experience with kitchen products such as glassware, porcelain, cookware etc is an advantage.
- Excellent Project management skills - able to manage project from drawings to developed into a mass production unit
- Knowledge of local norm regulation including food stuff and safety test.
- Good communication skills, and proficient in English and Chinese due to liaison with Chinese speaking counterparts / stakeholders
- Precise attention to detail, follow-up and sense of urgency.
- Very structured and organized personality.
- Ability to multi-task, work independent & manage deadlines simultaneously.

**Salary**: $3,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month
