Development and Operations Director

**Overview**:
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Director of Development and Operations to lead cross-functional teams, streamline technical operations, and oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of our digital platform and product offerings. This role is essential in aligning our development goals with operational excellence, ensuring scalable growth and reliability in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving industry.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Strategic Leadership**:Provide strategic direction for both development and operational teams. Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects that support business objectives.
- **Team Management**:Lead and mentor a diverse team of engineers, DevOps professionals, and technical project managers. Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- **Development Oversight**:Oversee the architecture, design, and development of platform features and enhancements. Ensure development follows best practices and industry standards for security, scalability, and reliability.
- **Operational Excellence**:Optimize system performance, availability, and security. Implement automation, monitoring, and incident response strategies to ensure robust and efficient operations.
- **Collaboration & Alignment**:Partner with Product, Security, Compliance, and Customer Support teams to ensure seamless delivery and support of technical initiatives. Act as a bridge between executive leadership and technical staff.
- **Risk & Compliance Management**:Ensure all systems and operations are compliant with relevant regulations, internal policies, and industry standards. Develop mitigation strategies for potential operational risks.
- **Budget & Resource Planning**:Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

**Qualifications**:

- 8+ years of experience in technical leadership roles, with at least 3 years in a senior operational or development capacity.
- Strong background in software engineering, systems design, and infrastructure management.
- Proven experience managing distributed teams and large-scale technical projects.
- Deep understanding of automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and performance monitoring.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence across all levels of an organization.
