**Role Overview**
We are seeking an experienced **Development Director**to lead the successful delivery of industrial development projects from inception to technical completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong engineering and project management background, capable of driving projects to completion while ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to regulatory standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Project Leadership & Execution**
- Oversee the full lifecycle of industrial development projects, from planning to final handover.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting technical requirements.
- Lead project teams, including engineers, contractors, and consultants, to achieve project goals.
**Technical Oversight & Quality Assurance**
- Ensure all technical specifications, engineering designs, and construction methods align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize technical and financial risks.
- Review and approve project designs, contracts, and technical documentation.
**Stakeholder Management**
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain strong relationships with key project partners to drive efficiency and accountability.
- Communicate project updates, challenges, and solutions to senior leadership.
**Budgeting & Resource Management**
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and financial discipline.
- Optimize resource allocation and procurement processes to maintain cost-effectiveness and project timelines.
- Implement best practices in contract management, ensuring favorable terms and compliance.
**Key Qualifications & Skills**
**Education & Experience**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of **10 years of experience in project management within the industrial sector.**:
- Proven **track record of successfully delivering large-scale industrial projects.**:
- **Hands-on, end-to-end engineering or project management experience and knowledge in large-scale industrial projects is strongly preferred, particularly in logistics warehouses or data centers within Singapore, Malaysia, or South Korea**
**Skills & Competencies**
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Deep understanding of engineering principles, construction methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure environments.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, AutoCAD).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
