We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Head of Trust and Fiduciary Services, Singapore**.

**Responsibilities**:

- Accountable Executive with responsibility for managing and driving the trust & Fiduciary Services (TFS) business in in Singapore, and co-contributor to the broader Global Private Banking (GBP) business. Has a material role in driving the strategic imperatives of TFS as they relate to Singapore, and in ensuring growth is sustainable and that TFS Singapore operates effectively is appropriately governed and controlled
- Overall leadership of a team of circa 32 staff in delivering premior wealth and succession planning, and philanthropy solutions with some 360 client structures; Assets under Administration of circa $6.5 billion, Revenues of c.USD16m
- Functional management of the TFS Unit in Singapore is a major part of the activities of the role, by working in conjuction with the respective Heads of these teams.
- Act as Director and Resident Manager of HTSG and as Branch Manager of HKIT Singapore, and Director or Executive Director, as appropriate, for other relevant HSBC Trustee related entities
- Chair of the TFS SG Management meeting, EXCO, BCC and Chair or act as effective member of other TFS committee in Asia as appropriate Participate as an effective member of the TFS Global EXCO, TFS Risk Management Committee, TFS Product Oversight Committee and participate in other goverance forums when necessary and appropriate.
- Member and TFS representative to the GPB SEA Exco and People Committee
- Ensure sustainable growth and relevance to the HSBC Group in a complex and specialist area, balancing business needs, cost and resources in support of the strategic direction of TFS, GPB, WPB and HSBC.
- Develop and implement TFS strategies in support of HSBC’s wider business priorities and objectives including driving intra-group collaboration, where appropriate, leading to successful referrals from other areas of HSBC
- Collaborate with other TFS locations and functions, along with other GPB and other Lines of Business where relevatn to look for new solutions, and work with the TFS COO to drive efficiencies through outsourcing and automation and ensure robust risk management
- Work with Business Development (Wealth Planning & Advisory) to ensure client propositions are continually updated and communicated across the global platform to meet changing market and legal/regulatory conditions
- Achieve financial targets whilst maintaining conduct and suitability standards at all times
- Ensure the TFS Singapore goverance structure is optimum and fit for purpose, and give due consideration to any changes that may be required to meet Singapore regulatory requirements along with TFS, GPB. WPB or HSBC strategic shifts
- Ensure trust administration is conducted at all times in accordance with all legal, regulatory and HSBC Group policies and requirements, fostering a strong risk and compliance culture. Demonstrate strong HSBC values, and upholding and promoting the image of the business
- Achieve and sustain compliance with Global FCC policies and procedures through implementation of AML/Sanctions policies and Global Standards
- Act as the senior member of the client relationship management teams for important client relationships
- Cultivate a high performance culture and enhance communications across teams. Ensure retention and recruitment of high quality resources with increased employee engagement and a clear employee capability and development framework
- Act as the Singapoe sponsor for major global transformation/streamlining initiatives and regulatory projects (e.g. Conduct Risk, Tax-related issues, etc.)
- Provide management oversight and governance in compliance with Group policies and processes whenever globally applicable, and ensure they are embedded into all TFS sites and activities
- Act as a senior spokesperson for trust and related matters globally
