**The Role**

As a rapidly scaling digital payments company, Product is at the core of everything we do. We’ve built globally distributed teams and are looking for a Director of Product to join us to ensure we continue to effectively scale in new and existing markets and continue to build the best payment solutions. **What you will do**

Joining the Pomelo team as the Director of Product you will lead a globally distributed Product team working on cutting edge digital payment products. Reporting to the CEO, you will lead the Strategy and Execution of all product-related activities and have a major role in defining our product vision and leading our team to execute and design truly innovative solutions.
- Produce and ensure a clear vision and product strategy for Pomelo
- Anchor the team to product goals and results that align with the strategy and product vision
- Responsible for overall product strategy and alignment across the Product Team and the organisation
- Work cross-functionally with globally distributed teams to ensure products are developed in line with the vision, design and timeframes
- Use analytics and data to inform decisions and to set clear priorities for the team.
- Manage, motivate and inspire a global product development team

Product is in your DNA, when you are not leading teams you are wondering what the next innovation or iteration may be and keeping your finger on the pulse on all the latest trends and news. We’re not looking for a unicorn, we’re looking for a strong leader with a good track record developing great products.

**Skills & Experience**
- Strong leadership experience preferably within a Payment solution for a global fintech company
- Experienced in leading globally distributed product teams
- Demonstrable experience leading product strategy and implementing/introducing new products and solutions to market
- Experience in hiring and nurturing exceptional talent
- Exceptional stakeholder management and engagement with both internal and external stakeholders
- Implemented a product-value measurement framework
- Comfortable coordinating and working with cross-functional, globally distributed teams
