Pomelo is currently experiencing fast growth both within Europe and Asia and is looking to expand further into these regions in the coming months.
**The Role**
We have created a brand-new international role to focus on marketing to our merchants and platform clients based internationally As Head of Customer Marketing, you will be responsible for the global marketing engagement and communication strategy for the organization which include Payment-Platform-as-a-Services (PPaaS) as well as direct to merchants.
This is a B2B marketing role, you will need to drive and develop end-to-end, scalable marketing initiatives that will increase revenue spend within the existing customer base, reduce churn and increase loyalty.
Reporting to the Director of Global Brand & Marketing, and collaborating across Account Sales, Customer Success, Product, Brand, Content and Marketing teams, you will be identifying opportunities to craft effective messaging to build compelling marketing programs that resonate with our customers.
**What you will be doing**
- Driving and implementing the international B2B customer marketing growth strategy and plans
- Rolling out engagement initiatives and develop segment-specific, sector-specific or client-specific growth strategies
- Developing marketing initiatives that drive usage, cross-selling, reduce churn and achieve revenue growth targets
- Working closely with Account, Brand, Content and Product teams to drive merchant engagement and usage of our Merchant Mobile App and payment solutions (in UK)
- Working closely with the Account, Brand, Content and Product teams to understand the platform clients and frequent use-cases to support engagement, usage and expansion plays across different emerging markets
- Frequent tracking and measuring performance, creating and sharing lessons and insights across the organisation
- Working with the Marketing and Sales Operations teams to identify opportunities to make efficient and scalable operations to support the growth of the function
- Being an advocate for the voice of the customer by building a deep understanding of our customers in each market and ensure customer needs are well represented in the product
**About You**
- Experience developing and leading marketing initiatives and projects from customer insight to ideation and execution
- Understanding of how to identify marketing opportunities within an existing customer base
- A customer-centric focus with proven results in achieving superb customer communication and user experience that drives revenue growth
- Strong customer focus with desire to learn all aspects of the business
- Strong project management and communication skills to lead and influence multiple stakeholders to meet project objectives and deadlines
- Great collaborator with experience working across functions and senior leaders
- Outstanding organisational, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills
- Team-player and positive attitude, eager to do more and help out, views challenging situations as opportunities
- Analytical skills with tools experience including (or similar to) Salesforce, Hubspot, Asana, Google Suite, Slack
- Managerial and leadership qualities to lead and build a strong team
- Experience working with a globally dispersed team is advantageous
- 5+ years of working experience in similar roles
