**Key Accountabilities**:
- Drive key transformation agenda in Group COO including strategic planning, budgeting, change management, and people engagement programs.
- Partner with regional function teams and locations to implement the strategic priorities set in the scorecard.
- Strengthen key COO capabilities such as Business Continuity Management (BCM), Strategic Cost Management (SCM), Operational Risk Management (ORM), and Data governance.
- Manage operating costs to achieve the desired financial outcome in line with the budget.
- Oversee risk and governance to ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and standards, deliver acceptable audit/regulatory inspection performance, and build a risk-resilient operation.
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain governance on the Group COO scorecard and support the Group head to drive and deliver strategies, performance, and planning for the group function.
- Manage Group COO Financial management, oversee Group Ops Risk & Controls, and drive the Group Transformation agenda and initiatives
- Partner with Regional leads in planning and formulating key strategic priorities and performance drivers for the Group.
- Provide strategic guidance and support on critical initiatives in line with goals set for the Group.
- Drive the annual planning process for the function as well as establish a strong performance management discipline.
- Maintain financial discipline in investments and operating costs for the Group.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's Degree required, with a minimum of 15 years of proven track record leading and delivering complex projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and influencing skills; strategic thinker; hands-on and delivery-focused.
- Excellent communication skills; highly driven and self-starter
- Experienced in the design and implementation of complex transformation programs (i.e., organizational structure, policies and procedures, risk assessment, technology resources, management information systems, etc.).
- Strong understanding of the impact of operations on business and stakeholders, ability to translate and communicate these to different levels of the organization, and ability to manage cross-functional teams to navigate through ambiguity to drive programs.
- Possess maturity in judgment. Strong focus on critical thinking, effective facilitation, and influencing.
- Systematic and disciplined approach to planning, organizing, decision-making, and delegation.
