Finance Manager

**Position Summary:
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Finance Manager & Personal Assistant to CEO will hold responsibility for financial reporting & analysis and supports credit control, treasury & investment, and as well as provides executive, administrative, and development support to the CEO.
You will also be involved in streamlining the finance framework and identifying opportunities for tax savings and streamlining of processes to reduce costs and/or improve productivity.
**Core Responsibilities**:
- Coordinates Board meetings, maintains confidential files and contact information; coordinates meetings, conferences, and committees both on and off site to support the CEO’s agenda.
- Travel arrangements (flights, transportation, and accommodation) for all C-suite executives.
- Credit Control, daily approving sales order, chase salesman for AR Collections, review and approve credit limit, co-ordinate and liaise with our lawyer and small claim court for legal litigation.
- Responsible for monthly management report of the companies; assist CEO in setting budget, report and explain actual vs variance and recommend solution or action required to meet sales targets.
- Assist CEO in improving inter department communication, arrange regular meetings and timely follow up on agendas on operation issues.
- Work closely with operation and finance team in implement and maintain strong internal control in risk management assessment and compliance with operational requirement (PDPA, Biz Safe Committee etc), which applicable.
- Assist in the preparation of Annual Report of Listing companies.
- Assist in consolidation of the group’s accounts.
- Responsible for Corporate Social Responsibility Function of Listing companies.
- Liaise with internal auditor, external auditors and corporate secretarial agents were applicable.
- Assist all aspect of ERP project of the group.
- Work closely with assigned JV (Aust) and other overseas operations and ensure timely submission of management accounts and review of its performance and ensure internal controls are in place.
- Assist CEO’s dormant companies and 3rd party accounts on annual filing with ACRA and IRAS.
- Travelling is required for overseas Joint Venture and subsidiaries.
- Any other duties assigned by CEO.
**Job Specification**
- Possess at least degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- At least 10-15 years working experience in related environment.
- Experience in Trading & Property Development preferred.
- Conversant in local accounting standards and tax rules and regulations.
- Good Interpersonal & Communication Skills, meticulous and able to work independently.
- Willing to travel to overseas countries.
- Self-motivated with strong leadership & supervisory skills.
- Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
- Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
