**SG Senior Engineer/Engineer, Transmission Engineering**:
**Job Accountabilities**:

- Plan, design and build Video, Ethernet and Optical Transmission networks and services globally.
- Manage contractors to install, commission, test and implement network equipment, overseas POP build and service rollout. Occasional travelling to and working in datacenters may be required.
- Provide technical and service support to Network Operations Centre (NOC) as required.
- Conduct connectivity acceptance test, provision and re-configure equipment on global Transmission Networks and Services.
- Support Pre-sales for solution requirements and Post-sales tier 2 technical support for trouble-shooting, including non-office hours if required.
- Support ad-hoc restoration and normalization works with suppliers on major failures of submarine cables and backbone networks.
- Manage vendors and suppliers in projects and network installation activities.
- Produce and update engineering, planning, operations and project documents.

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree/Higher Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electronics, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or related disciplines. Less qualification will also be considered.
- 5+ years of working experience with Data Centre / Telecom Operators / Vendors etc. is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge and working experience in Ethernet and Transmission network and services including DWDM, OTN, SDH, MPLS-TP, Ethernet Technologies and protocols.
- Knowledge and working experience in video transmission equipment platforms will be an advantage.
- Hands-on experience in using transmission testers and cabling works.
- Team player with initiative, eager to learn and deliver, and good communication skills.
