Transmission Engineer

**Job Description**:
- Telecoms Installation, Commissioning & Maintenance : analyze device running status, assist complex troubleshooting, common troubleshooting, device inspection, device upgrade and patching, running monitoring, data configuration, data management, performance management, fault management, and security management. Deployment, and rectification.
- Work with end-user or client on requirements, and service boundaries.
- Generate and produce report for user acceptance.
Integration Services for the following equipment and Knowledge and experience required:
(1) PTN & SDH, PON, GPON
(2) DSLM
(3) DWDM
(4) various transmission devices
1. Product basics: GPON, DSLM, OLT and DWDM experience and knowledge required.
2. Troubleshooting skills: Have a basic command of the Ethereal, Toolbox, and UEasy tools, be able to perform preliminary analysis, and be able to analyze and recover complex services such as narrowband data, ITV, and NMS service provisioning.
4. Familiar with Maintenance & Rectification services : Document control and processes, checking of configuration data, and backup data. Perform batch upgrade operation(including Upgrading the BIOS, CPLD, and database files, upgrading the program, and backup data) Perform service verification and observe after implementation. Provides emergency recovery capabilities for mid-range and low-end telecoms products.
5. Familiarise and work with customer on various levels for user acceptance.
Education : Degree in Engineering (communications / electrical)
Years of Experience : at least 7 years of experience in telecom equipment commissioning
