**Purpose of this role**:
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
Perform routine Quality inspection of the raw materials and parts as per procedure, inspection plan, drawings, bill of material (BOM) and approved supplier listing, includes routine incoming inspection and/or first article qualification inspections.

Maintaining sustainment of early detection of the incoming parts and materials, includes support First Article qualification of new parts/materials.

Ensure inspection records and documentations are properly documented and stored per identification and traceability requirements includes Oracle system update, e.g. inspection form, urgent request for part inspection form, etc.

Adhere to Nonconformance procedure inspection rejection and follow up for timely closure per disposition.

Escalate and communicate with defect found to the cross-functional stakeholders for necessary follow ups and supports necessary investigations upon detection.

Adhere to applicable inspection procedures, speak up for necessary updates needed to reflect the true practices and improvements.

Liaise with Suppliers on correct submission of required inspection documents, drawings, acceptance criteria, and not limited to conduct pre-inspection training to suppliers when is needed, especially for higher risk level suppliers.

Monitor and track inspection task completion through conducting regular DM and necessary discussion with cross-functional to ensure the on-time completion or set the prioritie (e.g. liaise with Global Sourcing or Buyer for urgent part inspection, etc.).

Conduct training to new hire for incoming inspection processes and on-job-training.

Communicate and work closely with internal cross-functional team in regards aligning the inspection requirements and acceptance criteria, such as Engineering, Supplier Quality Engineering, Global Sourcing, etc.

Participate in continuous improvement activities in a cross-functional environment that is not limited to procedural review and update, participate in Kaizen, Standard Work, etc.

Support in the internal compliance gap assessment and external audit such as FDA, ISO13485, CGMP, ISO9001, ensure no major finding in Singapore for Incoming Inspection processes.

Ensure compliance of operations within area of concern with all relevant EHS regulatory requirement and SCIEX safety policies, procedures and guidelines

Why you?

**Basic Qualifications**:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Minimum Diploma/ITE in Engineering or equivalent, or any relevant quality inspection certificates.

2-3 years of relevant working experience in quality assurance

Ability to interpret drawings (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and experience in writing procedures to QMS requirements.

Ability to use measuring instruments e.g. Vernier caliper, gauges, micrometer, height gauge.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
**If you have the following experiences, it would be a plus**:
Knowledge of the following QMS standards - ISO9001 QMS, ISO13485 QMS and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 is strongly desirable.

Ability to use measuring instruments such as CMM and optical scope is preferred.
