About the role

Pest Removal Specialist Pte. Ltd. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Pest Technician to join our team in the Woodlands North Region. As a Pest Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing effective pest control solutions to our clients, ensuring a safe and healthy environment. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development within our expanding company.

What you'll be doing

1. Inspect premises to identify the presence and source of pest infestations
2. Develop and implement customised pest control strategies using integrated pest management techniques
3. Apply pesticides and other treatment methods in a safe and effective manner
4. Monitor and maintain ongoing pest control measures to prevent recurrence
5. Provide professional advice and recommendations to clients on pest prevention and management
6. Maintain detailed records and documentation of all pest control activities
7. Participate in continuous training and development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pest Technician or in a similar role
2. Formal training or certification in pest control, pest management or a related field
3. Strong knowledge of common pests, their behaviour and effective control methods
4. Proficiency in the safe handling and application of pesticides and other treatment chemicals
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address pest issues
6. Good communication and customer service skills to interact with clients effectively
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
8. A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
