Assistant Sourcing Manager

Overview:

**Responsibilities**:
- To perform cost reduction, focusing on electronic/mechanical components, etc working closely together with the component engineering team to achieve the KPIs set by the management (eg. the material cost reduction target).
- To source and quote electronic/mechanical components to support new projects bidding.
- To be able to negotiate, perform cost analysis and select best supplier to meet the product requirement
- To be responsible in managing the relationship with suppliers on all commercial issues
- Management of system integrity for Sourcing data
- Identify cost saving opportunities that will enhance the profitability of the company
- Data analysis and reporting that identifies savings achieved by category and supplier.
- Assist in the development and achievement of departmental goals and objectives.
- To work together with the Manager, Oversee Sourcing Team for driving strategic sourcing initiatives and supply chain best practices across the Company to maximize Company material cost productivity.

- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications:
- At least a Degree
- Minimum 5 years working experience in the EMS or Electronic Manufacturing Environment
- Experience in sourcing or procuring of electronic / mechanical components with good negotiation and communication skills
- Strong knowledge in electronic / mechanical commodities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- A good team player
