**Assistant Vice President, Investment Services Real Assets Portfolio Operation, ESG Solutions**
The Investment Services Private Market and Finance (ISPVMF) Department leverages data and emerging technology to provide investment services and financial management on Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Cross-Strategy investments, strategically and tactically. The department oversee the development and implementation of business infrastructural plans and operating models needed to scale GIC’s investments in the alternative asset classes globally. The department is responsible for deal structuring, due diligence and closing, financial operations across GIC’s Private Equity, Infrastructure, and Real Estate assets, as well as tax structuring, corporate holding structures, valuations and financial reporting. The department also oversees the GIC Group’s revenues and expenditures.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage the integration of ESG in operational due diligence in deal sourcing;
- Lead and drive projects to support Private Markets businesses in ESG framework implementation, including workflows enhancement, data management, analytics, and tools
- Design, develop and operationalize ESG dashboard, metrics, and processes supporting the evaluation as well as ongoing monitoring of ESG considerations in Private Markets investments
- Work closely with Data Solutions & Analytics team to digitalize, standardize, streamline and scale the data collection and ingestion processes to support ESG Analytics needs
- Work with asset managers in tracking emerging ESG trends and regulations/standards and their potential impact on assets
- Engage with benchmarking agencies to stay abreast of market development, peer benchmarking and research
- Collaborate effectively across GIC including business management, ISPVMF functional domains and enterprise departments to drive continuous improvement and innovation in the ESG field

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years of relevant experience in areas relating to ESG, including project development and management. Previous exposure in data management, reporting and analytics and process design is favorable
- Good degree in a relevant field (Finance, Business, Accounting, Real Estate, Infrastructure or similar)
- Solid understanding of Real Estate and / or Infrastructure
- A team player with ability to forge strong partnerships with stakeholders across multiple domains
- Inquisitive self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- An analytical mind and meticulous in detail with strong financial literacy
- Strong time-management and organizational skills with creative problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent computer skills in Excel and PowerPoint. Comfortable managing a significant volume of data
- Good knowledge of data visualization and analysis tools such as Tableau would be an advantage
