**Junior R&D Engineer - Integrated Circuit**

Our client is a well-known Electronic Automation Company who is represented in Singapore with a fully owned subsidiary for more than 25 years and has a well-established infrastructure locally.

They are currently in the process of setting up a R&D Competence Center in Singapore to better cope with the arising global market demand. The new R&D Competence Center will start its operations in the already existing infrastructure in Singapore.

The focus of the new R&D Competence Center in Singapore will lay on the business areas of sensor technology and power electronics for serving the energy, building and factory sectors.

We are looking for someone who enjoys and has experience in Electronic Automation.

**Your scope of tasks & responsibilities**
- Collaborate with the R&D team to design and develop advanced algorithms, methodologies, and software tools for IC back-end processes.
- Support team leaders in developing and executing the IC R&D strategy in alignment with the company's overall strategy
- Work closely with the physical design team or the RTL design team to ensure seamless integration of the developed algorithms into the overall IC design flow.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to RTL design & validation or physical design, collaborating with team members to meet project milestones and deliver high-quality IC designs.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for new product development
- Keep track relevant technological developments in the areas of Sensors and Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC)

**Your professional profile -qualifications & competences-**
- 1-3 years of experience in IC design and development (analog & digital)
- Innovative spirit and passion for energy-based topics, technologies and trends
- High problem-solving skills (ability to analyze and interpret data, and communicate results effectively)
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team with strong communication
- Self-motivated and proactive working attitude
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize task
- University degree in the field of electronic engineering, sensor technologies, power electronics or a comparable qualification
- Fluent in English - German language skills would be an advantage
