**BitGo Inc. - Managing Director of Sales (APAC)**

BitGo is the leader in custody and is the largest independent digital asset custodian in the world. Founded in 2013, BitGo is the first digital asset company to focus exclusively on serving institutional clients. In 2018, it launched BitGo Trust Company, the first qualified custodian purpose-built for storing digital assets and established BitGo New York Trust in 2021. BitGo also offers market leading trading, lending, and borrowing services and supports over 400 digital assets on its platform. BitGo provides the security infrastructure and operational backbone for more than 700 institutional clients in 50 countries, including many of the world's top cryptocurrency exchanges and platforms.

BitGo is currently looking to hire a Managing Director of Sales for our APAC region (based out of Singapore). This role will report directly to the Global Head of Sales and is a great opportunity for Sales leaders within financial services/cryptocurrency who are looking to play a significant role in the structure of BitGo's overall sales strategy. This role will serve as a crucial leadership position (that includes management responsibilities) within a rapidly growing sales organization.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage all aspects of BitGo's APAC world class, institutional sales team
- Serve as a lead hiring manager for continued growth of BitGo's sales team in all regions
- Manage and grow revenues across the entire BitGo product lines in the APAC region.
- Acquire and drive continued institutional business development relationships.
- Represent BitGo products and services externally in client meetings and at industry events.
- Understand regional market microstructure and evolving regional competitor landscape.
- Work closely with sales leaders from our international regions (US, EMEA, LATAM)
- Generate excitement and energy for digital assets and cryptocurrencies within the region

**Requirements**:

- Sales experience of 15+ years in a client-facing capital markets or fintech role of which 2 years involve Digital Assets (preferred).
- 7+ years of both hiring and management experience (direct and matrix reports)
- Strong understanding of the complexities and challenges of financial markets and the crypto ecosystem
- Experience managing or leading the sales process within growth companies - generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. Experience with Salesforce is a bonus.
- Strong knowledge of Custody, Trading, Lending, Staking and the prime brokerage business model, and its value proposition.
