As a product developer at Ask & Embla, you will be responsible for seeing our founders' design concepts come to life, and will play an important role in building relationships with our manufacturing partners and seeing our developments come through in the current year and the years ahead.

We're looking for a clear and detail-oriented communicator, with a passion for developing high quality products. We're also looking for someone that is process and systems oriented, that always looks for better ways to get things done, moves quickly when a decision has been made, and is unafraid to take ownership of the work that they do.
- Work with design and product development team on approving samples to proceed to the production phase after thorough evaluation
- Partner with Product Design Team to offer options and solution to meet design intent and margin targets
- Work with the operations/procurement/budget network to create process documentation, ensuring ongoing operational quality and efficiency.
- Work with management, customer service & quality team to improve product development quality
- Provide technical and aesthetic support during product development process
- Assist in researching materials, colours, and trends for each delivery
- With guidance and advice, to modify and prepare final artwork for sampling and production
- To collaborate closely with our Product Development team on R&D for new capabilities
- Adhere to project schedules and effectively report progress to meet deadlines

**Job Requirements**
- A diploma or degree in Industrial Design, Engineering, Fashion Merchandising, Business, or Jewellery related fields highly preferred
- More than 2 years of experience in product development or project management related fields
- Proactive and outgoing personality with a positive and solutions oriented mentality - You will be speaking to and coordinating with suppliers regularly
- Excellent organizational skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team-player mindset, ready to help in different parts of the team
- Excellent English written communication skills
- Thick-skinned, and comfortable making requests under tight deadlines
- Must be tech savvy and able to adopt and use new tools quickly
