**Role Overview**:
This intern will work closely with leadership on early-stage SaaS strategy and subsequent marketing execution. They will gain hands-on experience by helping validate market opportunities, define product positioning, and support go-to-market efforts for a new SaaS venture. The role offers exposure to both strategic planning (including business modeling and market research) and tactical marketing (such as campaign management, social media outreach, and lead generation).
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Market Research & Validation**
- Conduct high-level market sizing and competitor analysis.
- Gather insights from customer interviews, surveys, and industry reports.
- Assist in refining problem statements, value propositions, and product positioning.
**Marketing Strategy & Content Creation**
- Contribute to the creation of the go-to-market plan, identifying target segments and channels.
- Collaborate on content calendars and schedule postings across relevant platforms.
**Branding & Messaging Support**
- Help maintain brand consistency in all collateral (logos, style guides, messaging).
- Brainstorm and test different product messaging approaches based on user feedback.
**Campaign Execution & Analysis**
- Set up and manage initial digital marketing campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn, or Facebook).
- Track key metrics (e.g., click-through rates, conversions) to measure campaign performance.
- Compile and interpret analytics to suggest improvements and pivots in strategy.
**Stakeholder Communication**
- Prepare presentations or reports summarizing research findings and campaign outcomes.
- Participate in regular planning and update meetings with cross-functional teams (product, sales, and leadership).
- Aid in aligning marketing objectives with broader company goals.
**Operational & Project Support**:
- Assist in coordinating beta programs and user onboarding workflows.
- Help maintain project management tools (Jira, Trello) to ensure tasks and milestones are on track.
- Provide input on budgeting and forecasting for marketing activities, and track spending.
**Qualifications**:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Interest in SaaS, B2B technology, or enterprise solutions (familiarity with IBM TM1 or Power BI is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of market research methods, digital marketing, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail.
- Proactive mindset, comfortable with juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
