Singapore LTA Land Transport Authority Full time

You will be part of the newly formed National Electric Vehicle Centre (NEVC), under LTA’s Technology and Industry Development Group. The NEVC will facilitate EV adoption, and spearhead the regulation and deployment of EV charging systems, as part of the development of a thriving EV ecosystem in Singapore.

You will play an integral role in the team developing regulations and systems to promote the rapid and safe deployment of Electric Vehicle charging systems in Singapore. This involves developing and implementing an enforcement policy and operational framework, to detect, investigate, and prevent/deter evasion of regulations. This includes working with vendors to develop an enforcement system. You will eventually oversee investigations and recommend appropriate actions to be taken against regulatory breaches. This role allows you to see through the conceptualisation of an enforcement policy into actual implementation You will contribute to achieving the outcomes of ensuring safety, managing operational constraints, and being business friendly.

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary Qualifications in any discipline
- Experience in enforcement policy or operations, such as regulating licensees or use of banned products.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment; you will be expected to work on multiple initiatives in the same period
- Be able to translate regulatory requirements into operational needs, and recommend effective and efficient use of enforcement resources
- Good writing and presentation skills
- Provide systematic and neat analysis
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional team, and with various stakeholders such as companies and other government agencies
