**Summary of the position**:
Transactional Commodity Finance (TCF) is a product line that belongs to Global Commodity Finance (GCF), itself part of International Trade and Transaction Banking (ITB).

The main goal of ITB is to support Corporate and Financial Institution clients with the management of their international trade and transaction banking needs.

GCF-TCF provides short to medium term transactional trade facilities and financings to CACIB's clients whose activities essentially relate to the commodity sector: oil&gas, metals&mining, agri products.

The Relationship Manager is in charge of an existing portfolio of customers, providing high quality services to them, managing the credit / operational / compliance risks, pursuing efficient usage of the credit facilities whilst ensuring a close monitoring of the transactions financed by CACIB, and actively look out for market opportunities.

Previous experience in energy transition / carbon credits financing / sustainable commodity finance would be a plus.

**Responsibilities**:
**Main duties**:
Portfolio Management
- Handling an existing portfolio of customers;
- Regular interaction with clients to ensure good utilisation of the credit facilities;
- Identification of our clients’ needs and ensuring that clients' objectives are in line with our Bank's strategy;
- Writing-up call memos and credit requests including the description of the client's background, activity, strategy, performance, hedging policy, and proposed credit facilities;
- Presentation to the various Credit Committees and Portfolio reviews;
- Keeping up to date on clients' business developments and commodity markets developments to ensure the underlying credit risks are within our approval;
- Actively manage and track credit / operational / compliance risks;
- Cross-selling to other business lines whenever relevant.

Portfolio Development
- Identification of new prospects, in line with the defined Asian GCF strategy;
- Marketing and identification of their financing needs and structuring credit lines;
- Conduct credit evaluations;
- Putting-up related credit file requests and presentation to various Credit Committees.

Monitoring of daily transactions and client's global position
- Bridge between external clients and internal clients including but not limited to Risk and Credit Departments, Operations Department, Legal and Compliance Departments, and GCF units in other locations;
- With the help of Account Officer, review (first level of validation) clients‘ proposed transactions before further circulation for approval;
- Review client's financing requests versus approvals with identification and information on variances and advise on mitigating factors in containing the transaction risks/deviations;
- With the help of Account Officer, actively follow through the life of the transaction with identification and information on variances;
- With the help of Account Officer, perform collateral risk management ensuring that, at all times, there is no collateral shortfall.

In charge of specific documentation
- Account opening documentation and update on the existing documentation;
- Establishing and / or reviewing KYCs;
- Prepare letter of offer, deed of charge, tripartite agreements, CMAs/SMAs, pledge agreement or other relevant legal documentation;
- Prepare periodic reports for management purposes whenever applicable.

**Secondary duties**:

- Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including but not limited to the Singapore Compliance manual (including global policies).
- Comply with all applicable Financial Security requirements, including but not limited to the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
- Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role.
- Complete all mandatory trainings on time to attain and maintain competence.
