**About the role**

The Marketing and Events Manager will report to the Company Director to ensure 360-degree success of all in-person and virtual E3Sports events covering execution, branding and marketing. This is a key role to drive awareness of building stronger bodies and minds through science, education, compelling storytelling and emotional connections.

**Job responsibilities**
- Drive awareness and attendance of E3Sports events through formulating a promotional marketing plan that includes digital marketing and engagement social strategies to maximise sign-ups.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute integrated marketing plans including Performance Marketing, Editorial, Creative, etc.
- Consistently review marketing outputs, attendee demographics, and industry best practices to ensure marketing efforts are effective and successful, making recommendations and adjustments as appropriate.
- Plan and produce events, and experiential activations to expand touch-points to build reach, frequency, and engagement.
- Identify and activate suitable affiliate marketing partners from local community groups, grassroots partners, to brand partners and government networks, to drive event-related performance.
- Curate new marketing and engagement initiatives to optimise E3Sports participant on-site and virtual participant experience
- Conduct research to identify suitable partners and contact these partners to develop mutually beneficial alliances within the various communities.
- Manage event marketing budget, other administrative duties and ad-hoc tasks as required and ensure collaboration with the various internal teams for timely tracking and updates.

**The ideal person**
- 3 years of event marketing/agency experience preferably in sports and/or live entertainment involving large-scale audiences
- Outstanding verbal and copywriting skills with a strong portfolio in paid / promotional marketing campaigns
- A strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and processes
- Able to multi-task efficiently and adhere to deadlines with a strong sense of urgency and ownership
- Self-motivated, dedicated, hands-on and willing to go the extra mile
- Able to work independently and within a team environment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle stress while staying nimble and flexible
- Must be able to work varying hours, where required
- Passion in sports and/or live event marketing will be a bonus
- Provide general guidance to junior team members
