**1)** **OVERALL JOB SCOPE**

The Food Handler is responsible for production setup, manufacturing preparation, production processes per approved guidelines and procedures, to produce the required products, at the right quantity at the right time. He/she manages start to end production processes as well as cleanliness and tidiness before and after production tasks.

**2)** **SPECIFIC ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Prepare food ingredients per approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Follow all food health and safety guidelines and requirements.
- Handle and package all food ingredients and production equipment to ensure quality and safety for end-customers’ consumption.
- Maintain food preparation tools, including cleaning and disinfecting instruments and equipment before and after use.
- Maintain the cleanliness of all surfaces involved in the food handling process, such as tabletops, ovens, chillers and other production / preparation equipment and utensils.
- Clean up any spills and leaks that may occur immediately to avoid slip / fall accidents.
- Follow SOPs to prevent food spoilage and waste.
- Handle, identify and segregate all food ingredients according to the production steps, Work-In-Progress (WIP), Semi-Finished Goods (SFG) / Finished Goods (FG), Scrap ingredients and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) etc.
- Shall work in a Halal certified food manufacturing environment.
- Shall shuttle between 2 factory locations (Pandan Loop and Jalan Senang) and other locations as necessary.

**3)** **QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
- Food handler’s licence, eg. mínimally Food Safety Course Level 1 etc. Note : All Food Handlers shall be duly registered with the Singapore Food Agency before they are allowed to handle food ingredients.
- Preferred at least 2 years of related work experience is preferred. Note : All Food handlers shall be sent for training and refresher training as necessary and as required by Law.
- Independent, efficient, resourceful, self-driven worker with a never give up attitude.
- Highest discipline for personal hygiene and good manufacturing practices.
- Ability to work well in a team setting and to co-operate and meet set production targets.

Amongst the functional food prototypes developed, is the first Zero Glycemic Index (GI) starchless protein noodles with high fibre (W0WTM Noodles).

Part-time salary: $8/h

Full-time salary: $1700/month + CPF + Benefits
