**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for product design and development using 3D CAD software and other simulation tools.
- Execute mechanical piece part design, process and tooling verification.
- Plan and manage mechanical design schedule.
- Implement products and process improvement.
- Coordinate design phases, transfer and project scheduling.
- Translate customer’s requirement into design specification, evaluate design feasibility and provide technical expertise to meet customer’s requirements.
- Establish design objectives for specific projects, perform detailed calculation and develop innovative and creative design for various difficult and complex project features.
- Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.
- To comply with all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by management).
- To adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.
- Designing & implementing cost-effective automation equipment.
- Compile & create technical proposal for customers & participate in proposal presentation & design review
- Provide technical support & documentation to Production & Installation department during in-house & on-site activities.
- Plan & manage project schedule.
- Provide detail guideline/reference for junior engineer (s) according to design specification.

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required.
- Proficient in Solidworks, AutoCAD and engineering calculation & material characteristics.
- Good communication skills.
- Good in analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Fast learner with ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
- Extensive knowledge of metal fabrication processes.
- Knowledge regarding design ergonomics & safety.
- Knowledge in Semiconductor industries, cleanroom requirements & specification.
