Job Description & RequirementsJob Description
- Wesley MC is looking for a video specialist to join our Media Team, which will create media for Wesley’s digital and online platforms, including our website, social media platforms, and online and onsite worship services. The team will work collaboratively with other existing departments and ministries of the church.

The content of media will have a high priority on video production, which includes media for the church and its various ministries, event and campaign publicity, and features on social media such as interviews and music videos. It will also include involvement in the live-streaming and post-production of our online worship services (including the production of video announcements).

The Video specialist will report to the head of the Media Team, and focus on the production of moving image media, such as live videos, motion graphics and simple animations. This will include live video recordings, post-processing, editing etc. You should be proficient with video editing software (Da Vinci Resolve or similar) and video hardware (Blackmagic equipment or similar). Software and hardware will be provided by the church.

**Requirements**:

- Able to commit to fulfilling the organisations’ purpose and mission
- Take a brief and working accordingly with a “can do” attitude
- Able to work collaboratively in a team and with other departments
- Able to facilitate the video review process with the appropriate stakeholders
- Able to work weekends and weeknights when required
- Able to deliver high quality work in a timely manner
- 3-5 years’ experience in video editing work with appropriate qualifications
- Submission of a portfolio

Technical Skills
- ** Video Editing & Post-processing**
- Proficiency with Da Vinci Resolve, or Adobe Premiere Suite
- Production and processing of raw footage e.g. recording, colour grading, cropping, etc.
- Editing & production of full videos, both under direction and self-guided
- Working with and integrating audio clips (e.g. interviews, music, sound effects etc.)

**Motion Graphics & Animations**
- Creation of motion graphics for lower-thirds, titling etc.
- Simple animations e.g. infographics, title loops etc.

**Videography**
- Plan and coordinate video shoots, setup of AV equipment e.g. lighting, audio, video etc.
- Basic direction of talents and creation of shot list
- Creation and maintenance of b-roll archive of raw and edited footage
- Familiarity with Blackmagic video hardware (or equivalent)

**Good to Have**
- Church media and worship service experience
- Livestreaming experience
- Photography experience
