- Excellent infrastructure troubleshooting skills using various devices, brands and toolsets.
- Developing technical proposals e.g. SOW, Implementation task list, etc. and engaging in technical discussions
- Providing Level 1 to 3 support with root cause analysis of the issues and recommend a solution/breakfix to prevent future occurrences
- Creating knowledge base of issue faced and steps taken to resolve the same.
- Documenting the major components, which will be used in the project to achieve performance and reusability.
- Good technical understanding and exposure to:

- Server platforms such as Linux (Red Hat, SUSE, CentOS, Ubuntu)
- Integrate the server automation process either by custom scripts or via third-party solutions
- Creating and managing LVM (Logical Volume Management)
- OS level management (Kernel Tuning)
- Directory Structure maintenance and management
- System services configuration / device configuration
- User Management and file permissions / ownerships
- Handling Kernel upgradation and firmware upgradation on the servers
- Knowledge related hardware-based storage (SAN/NAS), software-based storage (File Server, vSAN, etc.) and its underlying infrastructure
- Good understanding and experience on Virtualization Technologies, such as VMWare vSphere components, including ESXi and vCenter, RedHat Virtuallization, etc.
- Experienced in managing horizontal and vertical clustered and non-clustered environment
- Hands on experiences on all aspects of IT Operations spread across technologies
- Experienced in setting quality standards, risk assessment, developing business continuity plans & service standards for business excellence
- Server security assessment, such as systems hardening, vulnerability scanning and resolution, Data Loss Prevention solutions
- Monitoring and alerting solutions
- Knowledge related to Database, Middleware, Webserver, Load balancing, etc. would be an added advantage
