[What the role is]
Responsible for the curriculum development, quality control and assurance of our kitchen facilities/systems/procedures. Management of programme delivery and operations. Oversee Learner experience and trainer management.
[What you will be working on]
CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT
- Strategize and identify key trends, new technology and emerging skills required by industry and incorporate these into the curriculum
- Develop/Manage the development of new curriculum and facilitate the launch of new training programmes, which include Chinese courses, blended courses and synchronous E-Learning courses.
- Manage and facilitate the online platform/softwares for delivery of E-Learning courses.
- Contextualize and facilitate training programmes for corporate clients and in collaboration with agencies.
- Ensure compliance with SSG guidelines, course accreditations and audits.
CURRICULUM QUALITY CONTROL
- Responsible for the quality control of all training programmes
- Administer module/programme review exercises of curriculum to ensure quality and compliance with SSG’s continuous Improvement Review.
- Conduct regular evaluation of trainers’ delivery and assessments.
MANAGEMENT OF PROGRAMME OPERATIONS
- Review, formulate, implement, supervise and monitor processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of training delivery.
- Maintain positive learners’ experience, satisfaction and feedback; which may include counselling, conflict resolution and service recovery.
- Recruit, train, monitor and maintain performance of a pool of Adjunct Trainers.
- Manage and facilitate the integration of Trainee Management System (sTMS) with SSG’s TP Gateway.
- Supervise and maintain budgets through standardization of recipes and ingredient ordering system.
- Oversee & ensure efficient management of operations and administrative tasks including timetabling, trainer deployment, kitchen/ equipment maintenance.
[What we are looking for]
- At least 5 years of relevant curriculum development experience in an educational institution
- At least 5 years’ experience in F & B environment ideally in culinary or pastry
- Managerial experience in managing a diverse team
- A tertiary qualification in F&B, Hospitality or relevant studies
- Experience in developing and accrediting WSQ curriculum
