Responsible to oversee the HSEQ team by providing technical support to enable the business to achieve continual improvement in Health & Safety, Environment and Quality management, for Modec Global Operations.
- Participate in HSE plans, programmes and procedures as well as client requirements to achieve established HSE objective & targets.
- Assist with internal and external audits by technical advice in accordance with established policies, systems, processes, procedures and methods, client and/or host country requirements and regulations.
- Support the HSE Manager and team with planning, coordinating and implementing of effective HSE policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure that the department objectives are met.
- Scopes and manages external consultants work for both routine and non-routine work, by technical advice in accordance with established policies, systems, processes, procedures and methods, client and/or host country requirements and regulations.
- Supervise directly or indirectly offshore and onshore units under its responsibility by technical advice in accordance with established policies, systems, processes, procedures and methods, client and/or host country requirements and regulations.
- Assist and advice on HSEQ issues to make recommendations to facility management.
- Identify HSEQ mentoring and training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses of personnel.
- Influence and coach internal and external stakeholders to develop and administer a proactive safety prevention program and works with managers to resolve.
- Participate in emergency response as per procedures.
