Game Technical Director

Duties and responsibilities include:

- Define the game's vision and scope by collaborating with the Production team.
- Develop an overall budget for the technical development of the game.
- Drive adoption of suitable technologies and approaches to improve technical game development standards.
- Drive programmes for the adoption and promotion of best practices amongst technical development teams.
- Drive projects to meet schedules, budget, manpower and technical quality targets.
- Drive the Design, Art and Technical teams to define requirements and build solutions.
- Drive the development of technical tools to aid game development.
- Drive the technical development of the game.
- Establish quality standards for the technical deliverables of projects.
- Establish technical architecture and process decisions for game development.
- Establish the technical objectives of game development for the project.
- Evaluate proofs-of-concept for emerging technologies and approaches for game development.
- Identify technical requirements and tools to deliver on the game vision.
- Identify the technical expertise needed based on the game vision.
- Lead users, technical staff and management to resolve issues on game project implementation.
- Recommend investments in new cutting edge technology.
- Recommend solutions for technical challenges encountered in the development phase.
- Report technical progress of projects to stakeholders as required.
- Supervise technological design and design review.
- Track industry developments and best practices in game technologies on a regular basis.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Bachelor's degree
- High growth startup experience a plus, but not required
- Ability to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment (BONUS POINTS)
- Experience in NFT/Blockchain Games
- At least 5-8 years of progressively responsible experience in an international business environment which includes leading roles in developing, overseeing and managing projects
Strong track record in developing and executing strategies plans and initiatives.
- Exceptional ability in communicating consistently, clearly and effectively with a broad range of stakeholders
