In Game development, a technical Architect is typically responsible for the successful creation and delivery of the company's product to the marketplace by managing technical risks and opportunities; making key implementation decisions with the development teams, scheduling of tasks including tracking dependencies, managing change requests, and guaranteeing quality of deliveries and educating the team on technical best practices.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Defines the technological strategy in conjunction with the development team of each project: pipeline, tools, and key development procedures.
- Build scalable and structured game architect for free to play mobile game.
- Oversees technical design documentation process for correctness and timeliness
- Creates automated test process for system features, where possible, and contributes to the Code optimization and improvement of development process.
- Collaborate act as a sounding board for Project Leads; offering feedback, guidance and advice as needed.
- Risk Management identify technical risks on projects and develop contingency plans to put into place with the team.
- Recruit, Grow Mentor able to grow and develop the technical teams, with a focus on recruitment, mentoring, developing team members and performance management.
- Communicate development progress clearly and regularly with the production head.
- Coding Practices be responsible for ensuring we follow solid coding practices maintaining a high bar for our code quality.
- Sharing Knowledge with other Technical Directors to propose solutions that improve the development of projects in the studio
- Positive Working Relationships with Studio Discipline leads and directors.

**To Be Successful You Will Have**
- Proven team management and communication skills.
- Exceptional Coding skills in C++ and hands-on experience in Unity game engine
- Proven commercial leadership experience in the gaming industry either a Senior/Lead on a major AAA game for at-least.
- Experience working on games for mobile throughout an entire development cycle.
- A consultative approach, working across the whole studio to deliver your projects.
- A sound understanding of software development practices.
- The ability to adapt or suggest adaptations to existing Engines and Workflows.
