**Roles & Responsibilities**

The Bunker Director is responsible for Cepsa’s commercial bunker sales and operations business globally.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the global bunker team
- Deliver material EBITDA for the bunker business with a 5 year plan or material growth
- Manage the capital employed and financial commitments required
- Operate a prudent customer credit portfolio and management system
- Lead, identify and execute the bunker strategy
- Lead operations of time and spot charter fleet of bunker barges and tankers transporting blend components and finished grade bunker fuel.
- Manage a Centre of Excellence to handle all quality and quantity related claims for the Cepsa fleet
- Manage stakeholders including fuel analysis labs, bunker surveyors, and claim handling in a seamless, streamlined and cost-effective manner
- Manage blending operations globally
- Optimise bunker procurement decisions for Cepsa vessels globally
- Complete oversight of CEPSA’S vetting and ship operating requirements for the bunker business.

**Pre-Requisites**:

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Maritime qualification.
- Experience in Ship vetting, Bunker Supply in shipping is essential.
- Sailing experience at Captain level and knowledge of tanker operations.
- In depth knowledge of marine fuel blending, fuel testing, barge operations is necessary.
- Strong proven skills in business fundamentals and commercial acumen is key
- Experience of working with and presenting to executives, CEOs and boards
- Competent accounting understanding
- Excellent administrative and organisation skills, capability of establishing and maintaining filing and monitoring systems
- Excellent communication, written and verbal negotiation skills
- Previous track-record of team leadership and management skills

Fluency in English is essential while communication skills in Spanish (spoken and written) will be advantageous
