[What the role is]

This is a 2-year contract position as a Learning & Career Ambassador in the CET Academy.

**[What you will be working on]**

As a Learning and Career Ambassador, you will play a pivotal role in guiding adult learners towards achieving their career goals through personalized career advisory, employability workshops, and job placement services. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing public inquiries, and fostering partnerships with relevant agencies for job placement opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Career and Course Advisory
- Engage adult learners and offer tailored career consultancy, resume advice, and interview preparation.
- Develop and adjust action plans to overcome employment barriers and achieve job goals.
- Organize and conduct workshops and coaching sessions focused on employability skills and career development.
- Facilitate job placement and career transition for adult learners, keeping track of their development, engagement, and employment opportunities.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with agencies to enhance job placement services.
- Support workshops, career fairs, and other outreach events as required.
- Maintain knowledge of the local job market and industry trends.
- Ensure accurate documentation and confidentiality in line with PDPA guidelines.

2. Customer Service
- Provide course advisory and guidance as needed.
- Manage feedback from adult learners and the public, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution of inquiries.

**[What we are looking for]**
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in career advisory or guidance.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Experience in outplacement services is highly desirable.
- Passion for working with adult learners to support their upskilling and reskilling efforts for enhanced career prospects.
- Project management experience would be advantageous.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing time effectively.
- High adaptability to changes in a fast-paced environment.
