**Communications Manager and Local Spokesperson**:

As Communications Manager and Local Spokesperson, you will be responsible for Process Automation Business Area and Country communications needs in the market, to drive awareness and relevance amongst key stakeholders such as business and trade media, customers, and other key opinion leaders. Reporting to Global Head of Marketing & Communication and functionally reporting to the Country Holding Officer, you are responsible for external and internal communications activities in the country on behalf of ABB, including spokesperson and crisis management, ensuring positive branding of ABB in the market. The position is based in Singapore.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Aligning and optimizing local communications strategy and road mapping for PA’s divisions towards media, customers, employees, other stakeholders, in alignment with local/global Division comms management, objectives and priorities
- Supporting PA divisions in implementing their local comms campaign, in alignment with local/global division comms team; own and execute agreed activities and campaigns
- Optimizing cross PA divisions communications activities in the country and wider region, together with PA division communications managers
- Leading crisis communications management - serve on the country crisis task force. Offering guidance to other BA’s regarding crises and issues. Ensuring all internal issues and crises are handled with minimum negative impact to the organization and the ABB brand
- Fiduciary communications duties, including mandatory internal communications and oversight of GDPR compliance for local communications
- Managing the communications budget in direct control; support PA Divisions in optimizing local spend, ensure transparency, and maximize effectiveness and efficiency
- Managing local comms council across Business Areas to foster collaboration and alignment
- Governance of local communication channels including internet, intranet and social media

**Your background**:

- Undergraduate degree, or higher, in Marketing, PR or other relevant discipline
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Marketing, Communication Management or Public Relations in a matrix style organization and in a management role
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- In-depth knowledge and experience of all aspects of internal and external communications mix
- Experience in copywriting and editing for business communications
- Ideally experience in customer communications, Marketing Communications, campaign management
- Strong business partnering, collaboration and communication skills, with experience of managing internal and external relationships with senior stakeholders
