**Summary of Responsibilities**
We are looking for a Senior Brand Strategist to keep Blackbox at the leading edge and appeal to a larger audience, developing industry analyses and thinking across innovative platforms by offering deeper, analytical business thinking and strong perspectives on clientele industry, consumer, marketing, and business strategies to influence their target audience's opinions and buying decisions as well as to develop their long-term goals with Blackbox.

The Head of Brand Strategy should be a collaborative, fast-driven, creative thinker with superior human and business instincts; the person will be expected to:
- Design and drive brand strategy and evolution communications planning, including developing brand perception, strategy workshops to evolve thinking, brand and purpose aligned with client’s business goals
- Participate and consult in all consumer research and brand/social/sales analytics conversations, ensuring our work is aligned with the metrics of our clients
- Partner with key stakeholders (both internally and externally) to grow client arsenal by working on new business development conceptualisation, analysing their businesses, and recommending revenue-driving opportunities for strategic projects
- Run research and strategy projects for clients including (but not limited to): competitive analysis, brand DNA creation, positioning pyramids, and brand tone of voice/ verbal identity
- Guide creative ideation and concepting throughout the process, ensuring that we produce breakthrough work that drives clients’ businesses forward
**Critical Technical, Professional and Personal Capabilities**:
- Degree or relevant tertiary qualification in Brand Science, Communications, or Business
- 8+ years of integrated experience delivering brand strategy within the marketing/creative space
- Ability to articulate a confident point of views
- Excited about the prospect of working directly with (and balancing the workload for) multiple clients and new business pitches at any given time
- Have a passion for creativity, culture, understanding how people think/interact
- Solution-oriented mindset and can deliver content and key messages at scale.
- Able to roll up sleeves and get the job done in a fast-paced, high growth environment
