Regional Head of Pricing and Strategic Projects

Key responsibilities include:
- Develop pricing strategies based on price elasticity of products, modelling scenarios and profitability requirements
- Develop processes and team structures to have full visibility on competitive environment and identify opportunities to optimize pricing/promotions.
- Partner with product and tech team to build roadmap to develop scalable tech solutions at every level of the value chain: assess platform competitiveness, develop/escalate the relevant set of actions to the right stakeholder(s), ensure actionability and accountability, monitor and improve performance
- Build financial models to support and track result of pricing scenarios
- Develop relevant and distributed analytical solutions to provide data-driven actionable insights to all relevant stakeholders (sellers, key account managers, retail buyers, promotion team.) and report on results to senior management
- Develop program and incentives to drive marketplace seller base competitiveness
- Collaborate with marketing team to establish a strong price competitiveness association with Daraz
- Design and maintain OKRs / KPIs and business planning for your team
- Perform weekly, monthly business reviews to understand what is working and what needs improvement
- Continually raise the bar in terms of performance and drive more efficiency
- Strategize, design, structure and execute strategic and transformation projects across countries
**Qualifications**
- High on Business Acumen with ability to think logically
- Exceptional judgment and decision-making abilities
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, highly adaptable to quickly changing environment
- Entrepreneurship mindset, solution and results oriented, analytical approach to problems
- Ability to think strategically and long-term about the needs of complex global businesses
- Strong knowledge in project management and teamworking across multiple regions
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to drive and manage cross-functional teams and cross-cultural stakeholders
- You know how to manage priorities and work with short deadlines
- 5+ years in program / project management, of which a minimum 2+ years in managing people and interacting with stakeholders
