**The Role**

The role of SG H&B Ecommerce Commercial Manager is to represent Commercial function for Guardian eCommerce. He/she will manage the assortment and promotions and ensure stock availability for E-commerce. He/she will also manage the relationship with suppliers and acquire online exclusive promotions and/or product ranges (where possible). These activities will enable the delivery of sales & total income for E-commerce.

**Sales and Margin**
- Generate sales by ensuring that the Guardian online target customers are provided with a trustworthy and convenient customer experience based on quality, service and value
- Close collaboration with the Country Commercial team to build and achieve category targets for Guardian online, through omni channel and online exclusive promotions
- Negotiate and work with vendors to build mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers, which include: to develop online exclusive brands, products and promotions. Also, to negotiate for online exclusive price & rebates
- To achieve TCI target while maintaining price competitiveness which maximizes business profits while delivering a good value offer to the customer.
- Secure marketing support from suppliers

**Assortment**
- Keep abreast of online trends and ensure high level of synchronization between online and offline assortment
- Maximize sales and profit by utilizing category management techniques to manage assortment, pricing and promotion

**Stock Control**
- Provide timely and accurate forecast for KVIs and promotional SKUs and ensure stock availability

**Systems and People**
- Actively exploit benefits of merchandise management system ensuring sales, profit, and costs are effectively managed
- Build an effective and open working relationship with Marketing, Supply Chain and Country Commercial Team
- Assert a high level of administrative control to ensure smooth operations
- Develop and train subordinates ensuring that they are customer and product focused and can work with discipline
- Manage performance through the setting and reviewing of individual performance

**About You**
- Degree qualified with relevant eCommerce industry experience
- Sufficient experience in Commercial / Buyer roles
- Numerate and Analytical, making data driven decisions
- Aptitude to challenge the status quo
- Ability to work collaboratively with other stakeholders
- Exposure to global / local H&B trends
- Strong project management
