In Benjamin Barker Group, PR & Communications is about understanding people and building awareness of how the products and services can satisfy their needs. We’re looking for a versatile PR & Communications Executive who’s eager to do this and more for the group’s fashion, lifestyle and F&B brands.

As a confident, creative, self-starter, who’s a great storyteller and excellent copywriter, you will be critical to reaching out and engaging the media, journalists, influencers and other key audiences on the new initiatives, launches and events.

**What you bring to the table**:

- Solid, demonstrable experience of working in B2C business - this could be in-house or at a PR agency. Bonus if you’ve worked in fashion and retail sectors.
- An innate understanding of what makes a good story for the media and how to secure great quality media coverage - along with existing media relationships in Singapore and knowledge in other markets.
- An excellent verbal and written communicator, highly organised and detail-oriented
- Keen interest in fashion, retail, F&B and turning our launches into compelling messages and stories
- A genuine, enthusiastic interest in Benjamin Barker’s mission and developing and communicating great ideas
- An ability to work proactively and autonomously in a fast-paced company with a hands-on approach

**What you will be doing**:

- Execute PR plans that drive reputation and growth - whether it’s delivering substantial media coverage or thinking of new ways we can make the media and public aware of what we do
- Develop communications strategies to build awareness of Benjamin Barker with influential business, tech and consumer lifestyle media, as well as handling issues as and when they arise
- Copywriting of associated fashion, lifestyle and F&B editorial needs and press releases
- Planning publicity strategies, campaigns
- Supporting the Marketing Director in crafting effective PR strategies
- Dealing with enquiries from the public, press and related organisations
- Organising promotional events, press visits, etc.
- Media coverage and social monitoring
- Influencer seeding and monitoring
- Dealing with editorial loan of products

**Requirements**:

- Degree or higher in Communications, Business Administration or a related field
- You have at least 1-2 years of prior experience in a similar role
- You have strong communication skills and outstanding writing skills
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with journalists
- Ability to build PR strategies and troubleshoot problems
- You thrive in matrix environments and are adept at building relationships with different stakeholders and customers
