**Job Description**:

- Manage investigations, design, and development of data science & AI projects.
- Lead data science team to identify, scope, develop, and implement solutions addressing user needs.
- Design workflows for data pre-processing, feature engineering, and model development.
- Evaluate analytical output, refresh/retire models, and present insights to stakeholders.
- Drive adoption of data science & AI in daily work of MHA officers and advise on strategic challenges.
- Serve as single point of contact for projects involving data science & AI techniques.
- Stay updated on latest technological advances in data science and AI techniques.
- Provide coaching/guidance to data scientists, manage tasks, staff training, and feedback.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in a quantitative discipline involving Data Science/Analytics, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading teams in solving analytical problems.
- Knowledgeable in AI algorithms, machine learning, data mining, natural language processing, etc.
- Experience deploying data science/AI models in production environments.
- Proficient in coaching and developing data scientists.
- Ability to multitask and lead/oversee multiple projects.
- Enjoys tackling technically challenging problems.
