**Responsibilities**:
**Engage in Research and related activities**:
- Conduct action research.
- Support in-house research projects e.g. data collection.
- Publicise and host four in-house webinars annually.
**Manage NIEC's teacher educator professional attachment and research programmes**:
- Support the Lead to produce and update the research handbook annually.
- Manage the programmes e.g. tracking, working with faculty to complete the PDPA / ethics process
- Manage the ethical review system.
- Manage meetings with internal and external parties.
**Writ reports and newsletters**:
- Conduct literature search, review journal articles and write reports.
- Produce research newsletters two times a year.
**Job Requirements**
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, psychology, social sciences, or related disciplines, preferably with experience in conducting research.
- Possess research skills and experience such as data collection.
- Experience in reading and summarising research literature.
- Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent use of Outlook, Zoom, MS Teams, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Experience using SPSS or other data analysis tools would be an advantage.
- Team player, results-oriented, able to work independently and able to collaborate with diverse groups of stakeholders.
