Consumer GI Operations is a team that supports the General Insurance (GI) operations at Income. We play a key role in GI Consumer Business by supporting our stakeholders in Underwriting, Policy Servicing and Claims processing. As an Executive in Consumer GI Ops, your key responsibilities include the following:
- Process and assess the admissibility of Personal Lines claims in accordance with the given guidelines
- Ensure prompt, fair and reasonable claims settlement
- Negotiate settlement of claims within the authority limit
- Work with various external service providers such as assistance company and loss adjusters to administer claims
- To supervise and coach junior team members
- To assist supervisor in preparing and analyzing exception reports and daily productivity report
**Qualifications**
- Degree/Diploma holder
- 1 to 2 years' experience handling Personal Lines claims will be an added advantage
- Competent with MS Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Service oriented with excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and decision making skills with attention to detail
- Successful applicant will be required to obtain relevant insurance qualification (BCP, PGI & ComGI)
