Singapore WPP SINGAPORE PTE LTD Full time

Active partner in the management of the South Asia real estate portfolio.
- Manage stakeholders to optimize the utilization of the real estate portfolio and minimize excess space.
- Initiate lease renewal and site selection projects in a timely manner to ensure optimum outcome.
- Monitor the lease expiry database, managing the critical dates and events.
- Co-ordinate the assembly of internal and external team members for projects.
- Partnering with the Global program and project manager to ensure smooth delivery of projects in the region.
- Present detailed recommendations for projects, and manage the formal approval process between, local, regional and global stakeholders.
- Develop strategies and provide direction and guidance on Companies Asia Pacific real estate portfolio.
- Provide regional and country/city strategic advice and analysis to Companies’ operating companies, optimizing their real estate
- related decisions, and alignment with the broader global real estate strategy of colocations.
- Drive the development of master plans for each cities.
- Strive to develop innovative approaches to the management of the real estate portfolio.
- Manage service providers relative to real estate, lease administration, transactions re space acquisition, disposition, and marketing of excess space for subleasing.
- Negotiate directly with landlords over significant leases and colocation projects.
- Work with project managers (in house and 3rd party) and designers to implement the WPP design guideline and flexible workplace strategy (Activity Based Working/Agile Working) on selected projects.
- Support the Global / Regional FM team on operations management across WPP Campuses/ Offices in South Asia.
- Support the WPP Acquisition and Transaction Services teams on real estate due diligence and fair value assessment through the real estate advisors.
- Ensure data integrity for our lease administration records by liaising with the 3rd party vendors.
- Execute projects in accordance with the global energy management guidelines.
- Assist WPP global reporting with queries and forecasts related to statutory reportings.
- Assist in the forecasting of the lease portfolio and annual capital expenditure programs.

- Minimum 5 years in a similar or related CRE role, and at least 15 years in properties.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experiences across India office markets.
- Ability to travel throughout the geographies regularly.
- Excellent numeracy skills, and proficiency in Excel & Powerpoint.
- Sound critical thinking and reasoning skills.
- Good commercial acumen, together with a passion for CRE.
- A healthy sense of humor, and high level of integrity.
