GuardRails is looking for an experienced and talented QA Automation Engineer to join our team As our QA Automation Engineer, you will be working with a team of highly skilled and experienced engineers. GuardRails is supporting a growing number of users from all over the world and you will play an important role in ensuring that we ship high-quality products on time.

You are passionate about quality and ensure it drives our development process, from requirements to delivery. You will define, develop, maintain, and execute the automation of test scripts utilizing test automation frameworks as well as doing some manual testing when necessary.

You are a highly motivated, experienced, and well organized QA automation engineer who takes pride in the work you do and in the value you add to your agile team.

**Required skills and experiences**:

- You ensure quality is part of the whole engineering lifecycle, from requirements to delivery
- You are involved from the very beginning of the requirements gathering and ensure test cases and acceptance criteria are defined in the very early stages
- You love automation but you also understand manual testing is sometimes necessary
- You have basic experience with Cypress and Jest
- With the help of our senior QA engineers, you define, develop and maintain automated test scripts (unit test, regression test, functional test, integration test, performance test and smoke test) to achieve maximum code coverage in test automation frameworks (Cypress, Jest,)
- You are self-motivated, organized, creative, respectful, with a high level of integrity and ethics
- You have a good command of the English language

**Good to have**:

- Strong experience with at least one test automation framework (Cypress, Jest, Selenium)
- Solid experience working in an Agile team environment
- Experience with at least one of those languages (Javascript, Python, Java)
- Experience with load and stress testing
