**Software Quality Assurance Engineer**

(remote - Manual Testing )

DBF Technology Team

DBF is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer (SQA) to help us build our interactive design software for Architecture Engineering and Construction (AEC) Industry. You will oversee the activity of the quality assurance activities including: developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for our products and development processes to the highest standard.

**Professionalism**
- A bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering or any other equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years experience in test planning, test designing, test case writing, test execution and status reporting
- Deep understanding of software testing techniques and QA process
- Working knowledge of SQL/NoSQL and experience in data verification testing
- Ability to take ownership and handle multiple projects
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- ISTQB certification would be an added advantage
- Experience in AEC(Architecture, Engineering and Construction) domain or a similar field. would be definite advantage
- Experience with automated testing would be an advantage
- Experience with Javascript and Python would be a plus
- Ability to manage sprints and teams to ensure fixes in a prompt and timely manner
- Willingness to work horizontally from time to time and assist team members where possible
- Ability to use JIRA, Trello and sheets to track progress of QA

**Responsibilities**
- Analyze the data thoroughly to find the areas of product improvement
- Develop strategies to improve the production process and explore new technologies and suggest improvements
- Eyeing on the objectives to reduce cost and improve profitability
- Providing training to individuals who handle the product
- Make sure the product goes through auditing and testing
- Formulate timely reports and documentation to track progress
- Identify the training requirements to meet the quality standards
- Set benchmarks and metrics to measure product quality status.
- Develop strategies and workflows for product inspection.
- Make documentation of internal audits and quality assurance activities
- Plan, conduct and execute tests to ensure product quality and identify existing usability issues, ux/ui design problems and bugs.
- Take a look at customer complaints and escalate unresolved issues
- Analyze the data to find the areas for improvement
- Create, distribute and manage QA and related tickets to development teams
- Plan QA sprints to fix found issues
- Oversee sprint progress and ensure timely delivery of fixes
- Create and maintain automated and manual test cases across projects
- Maintain build quality and report the same to the team and stakeholders
- Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and milestones
- Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding statuses, risks, issues and test progress
- Monitor and maintain automated test infrastructure
- Build tools to help monitor and track down issues
- Investigate issues encountered by automated testing
