**About Ascenda Travel Delivery**

The Travel Delivery team deals with building and maintaining our multi-tenant frontend services, and work with different teams in ensuring our day to day operability. The Travel Delivery team builds mainly in TypeScript (React & Angular) for our frontends, and also in Ruby (Ruby on Rails) for some of our backend services.

Within the team, you’ll find like-minded, and enthusiastic frontend-focused full stack engineers, excited about the technology we work with. Bonus mention - the team is also led by 2 Google Developer Experts

**As a Software Engineer with our team, you will**:

- Develop user-facing features using modern-day frameworks (like Next.js and Angular), and also sometimes work with backend frameworks (like Rails).
- Implement best practices for performance optimization and accessibility.
- Help own & coordinate major delivery timelines for the projects you work on
- Solve big data & hi-traffic problems from the many suppliers we integrate across the ecosystem - problems of performance, tenancy, self-serve configurations
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Work closely with designers, product owners, and engineers from multiple teams to develop and design solid user experiences.

**What we're looking for**:

- Deep experience in frontend programming language variants - JavaScript and definitely TypeScript. 2 - 4 years experience in building frontends using React, Angular, Vue, etc.
- Some experience in backend programming languages such as Ruby, Golang, or any other relevant languages is a plus.
- Have experience participating in technical roadmaps/RFCs to communicate technical strategy and resolve architectural problems. Have experience mentoring and coaching your junior engineers.
- You have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team and with teams across the organization
- You are passionate about efficiency, availability, technical quality and system quality.
- At least 2 - 4 years of development experience. Prior experience in the travel technology industry is a bonus
