8-10 years of experience in communications, including 2-3 years of regional communications experience. Agency experience is a plus
- Strong English writing, speaking and presentation skills - strong writing ability and able to write for both business and emotive purposes
- Experience of working with business leaders, senior executives, and multi-stakeholder engagement and management
- Experience of project and event management, as well as regional coordination
- Rich knowledge of social media with experiences of running social media campaign and developing social media content, especially corporate content
- Ability to work independently, open to learning and detailed oriented
**Roles and responsibilities**:
The role supports “One Lenovo” across the Asia Pacific region. Primary focus is on the IDG (Intelligent Devices Group) business with a supporting role to SSG (Services and Solutions Group), while providing needed coordination/alignment with ISG (Infrastructure Services Group)’s Head of Communications in AP. The scope is as the follows:
- **External Communications**: Media and analyst relations, plan and execute region-wide media communications campaigns including regional media engagement, and regional analyst events, product launches, stakeholder engagement initiatives, and targeted speaking opportunities for designated AP business leaders.
- **Internal Communications**:Develop Regional President’s key internal memos and announcements, customer win case studies, update/highlight from the Regional President on key initiatives that support AP business priorities. Brief senior executives on communications programs and events. Plan and coordinate region-wide town halls using a hybrid approach, and ensure logistic success with video conferencing systems and facilitation of two-way livestream events across multiple office locations.
- **Executive Communications**: work with Head of Communications AP to execute meaningful internal and external communications for the regional president, including employee communications related activities, media communications, speaking opportunities, social media content, and presentations for communications activities.
- **Stakeholder engagement and management**:Work with Head of Communications AP for stakeholder engagement and communications initiative/activities, including media, analysts, and identified influencers.
- **Coordination**:Facilitate AP regional/hub programs with the 13 market teams through working with Lenovo Communicators and multiple agency teams. Manage external PR agency for day-to-day tasks, projects, reporting and planning, including regular update of AP communications toolkit, e.g. messaging, factsheet, executive bios, etc. Work closely with marketing, social media and worldwide communications teams to drive integrated brand-building programs.
- **Crisis communications**: Work with the Head of Communications, AP to support issues and crisis communications management.
- **Admin and general tasks**:
o Facilitate the improvement of communications processes, infrastructure and measurement
o Track AP budgets and work with finance to manage spending on a quarterly basis
o Manage executive communication mailboxes, communication trackers, distribution lists and branding updates
o Manage owned media platforms: AP Intranet and creative resources hub (AEM)
