**About the Client**:
Our client is a reputable leader in the commodities industry. They are currently seeking a well-rounded finance and accounting specialist to take on a short-term maternity cover. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to multiple accounting standards, including SFRS, IFRS, and China GAAP.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Financial / group reporting: preparing financial reports, relevant disclosures and other daily operating reports to meet the requirements of parent company.
- GAAP conversion & compliance: Convert financial statements from Singapore GAAP to China GAAP for monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting. Follow new accounting standards.
- Timely Submission: Ensure timely submission of periodic reports, including quarterly and annual statutory/management reporting.
- Compliance: Ensure all relevant disclosures to the parent company adhere to SGX rules and group disclosure policies.

**Qualifications**:

- Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification holder.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in external audit firm or in-house.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills and detail oriented. Proficient in Chinese is required as there will be frequent communication with offices in China.
