**Job Summary**:

- The Account Manager will play a key role in achieving our revenue and ambitious customer acquisition plans.
- Deliver maximum Gross Margin contribution from designated territory.
- Ownership of all customers and prospects within designated territory
- The Account Manager will be responsible for developing sales opportunities and promoting VWW products and services, new build vessel supplies, and new edition publications.
- Must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, proactively engaging with prospects, generating interest, qualifying opportunities, and growing sales.
- The role requires a proactive outbound approach to the marketplace

**Core Accountabilities**:

- Manage assigned accounts in target territories. Identify cross sell and upsell opportunities
- Understand customer needs and requirements.
- Prospect for new business through the promotion of VWW products and services - VFI Global Fleet, Voyager software suite, new build supplies and new editions.
- In co-ordination with marketing prepare marketing campaigns to support sales activities
- As necessary generate appointments to demonstration and introduce VWW products and services.
- If appropriate, take an account opportunity to closure, after successful closure transition to customer service.
- Attainment of monthly revenue targets.
- Research accounts identify key players and generate interest
- Attendance of live events and webinar to understand latest industry trends and connect with prospect accounts.
- Ensure that key stakeholders and contributors are fully engaged and informed
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and commercial Codes of Conduct/Ethics
- Act as a change agent and role model promoting VWW Values always

**Experience & Skills**:

- 2 years previous customer facing experience either in the sales or customer service domain
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft packages, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or equivalent
- Professional with a collaborative approach that nurtures internal and external relationships
- Self-starter that takes the initiative with limited supervision
- High integrity, agile, resilient & energetic
