Reporting to the Head of Asia Pacific Marketing, we are looking for a Commercial Manager (Renewable Energy) to join a dynamic team to expand the regional market. As part of the team, you will maintain an effective level of business literacy and be highly competent in building relationships with both external and internal stakeholders. **Responsibilities** - Develop and negotiate commercial and technical terms with clients, ensuring profitability and risk management of renewable projects - Support bidding process for projects, including preparation, submission, and evaluation of tender documents - Understand and ensure compliance with all the specifications and requirements for the tenders and projects - Understand general requirements of local permits and regulations related to renewable energy - Prepare commercial proposals for renewable energy projects - Good relationship management and negotiation with vendors for best offers - Review and support all contractual documents required for the project execution - Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment in project execution - Oversee commercial performance for projects regionally and submit progress reports - Incorporate lessons learned from operation assets and construction into commercial consideration for future projects - Support in plant performance analysis and enhancements to maximize total return for each asset - Execute full-cycle project permitting, subsidy access, and lender/investor relations with multiple stakeholders - Perform other duties as required **Requirements**: - Degree in Business Management, Banking, Finance, Renewable Energy field or equivalent - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in APAC renewable energy sector, focusing on biomass and solar portfolios - In-depth industry knowledge of renewable energy in APAC. Additional knowledge in Vietnam would be advantageous. - Ability to lead all commercial aspects of solar and biomass asset development (up to 50MW) across APAC - Capable of conducting high-complexity financial modeling and strategic valuation for renewable portfolios (up to 40MW). - Proven track record in raising >USD 5M in equity - Strong commercial acumen and regional experience, particularly in Vietnam, with the ability to communicate effectively with local stakeholders to support local stakeholder engagement and project negotiations - Self-starter with direct experience in both start-ups and large corporations.
