Advancement is a critical department for INSEAD’s alumni engagement and fundraising efforts. We are seeking a driven and experienced **Advancement Communications Manager **to support Advancement fundraising and alumni engagement objectives through internal and external communications for the INSEAD community with a focus on donors and alumni. This is a **full time and permanent position **to be based at either our **Asia Campus in Singapore, One-North or our Europe Campus in France, Fontainebleau **.
Reporting to the Director of Advancement Marketing and Communications, the Advancement Communications Manager will develop a strong brand and communications strategy for Advancement, as well as drive definition of project scope and objectives of several key communications projects.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Writing**
- Write and edit quality content across all digital and print platforms (i.e. news stories, alumni features, donor profiles for websites, publications, photo/video scripts, social media posts)
- Support development writing
- Serve as editor for our bi-annual alumni magazine, Salamander. Develop each issue’s strategy with the editorial board; create and edit content, collect, and identify relevant media; and manage the approval process
- Draft leadership speeches for events, as needed
- Safeguard the INSEAD and Advancement brand guidelines across all collaterals
**Project Management**
- Manage creation and execution of deliverables for events such as: Giving Day, Alumni Forum, Alumni Reunions
- Write project briefs to document scope of projects, creative input and budget
- Work with external vendors and internal departments
- Identify milestones, dependencies, and issues to manage throughout the process
- Coordinate efforts across communications disciplines and key internal stakeholders to ensure deliverable dates are met
- Manage the insead.edu website revamp project which includes content creation and migration
- Represent Advancement on various schoolwide committees and taskforces
- Other duties as assigned
**REQUIREMENTS**:
**Education**
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in communications, journalism or a related field
**Experience**
- At least 5 to 7 years of relevant working experience in communications and project management, including management of project budgets
- Has experience working with vendors including agencies, graphic designers, print vendors, and development writers
- Demonstrated attention to detail and talent to handle multiple and varied tasks independently, while also working collaboratively
- Proven capability to handle multiple competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines in a timely manner
- Able to make an impact as a member of a team and diverse community and in a complex, fast-paced and team-oriented environment
**Competencies**
- Superb written and oral communication skills, including editing and presentation skills
- Creative and able to adapt content and writing to cater to different audience/genre
- Excellent organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills
- Confidence to interact and engage key stakeholders at the leadership level
- Knowledge in WordPress, Canva, Drupal, Eloqua or Asana a plus
