Director Strategic Communications Singapore

**About the Role**

FTI Consulting is seeking talented, ambitious individuals to join its Strategic Communications team in Singapore. We provide our clients with in-depth communications counsel and support driven by insights, leveraging our core capabilities spanning corporate communications, financial communications, data & insights and public affairs.

**What You'll Do
- Lead and take accountability for client servicing, media relations and local and regional account management.
- Work with a highly motivated team in the Singapore office (and broader regional team) to strengthen the Corporate Communications practice and offering.
- Work with senior management to provide input towards the development of the firm's strategic direction in the market.
- Lead the creation of high-quality written proposals for existing and new clients.
- Support and mentor junior team members.
- Helps clients identify and escalate risks in order to act and communicate with integrity.
- Provide input for the Singapore office's marketing and promotional activities in Asia.
- Understand and live by FTI's values, Code of Ethics and the Strategic Communications Rules of Practice, and works with junior staff to embed these concepts within the firm's culture. **Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience of communications agency or in house experience.
- Strong understanding of how the regional, international, and local media landscape.
- Crisis and issues management experience advantageous.
- Fluency in English is required
- Strong editorial and written skills are a must.
- Excellent presentation and project management skills.
- University degree or higher in journalism, marketing, corporate communications is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and manage own time.
- A collegiate approach to working in a diverse team across the Asia region and globally
- Ability to contribute towards new business development (ideas and proposal development, etc.).
- Travel may be required to clients and to FTI office(s).
